Authenticity & Sourcing

Every crystal we sell is a natural stone — never glass, never dyed resin, never a reconstituted look-alike sold as the real thing. Here is how we source, prepare and stand behind what we ship.

Where our crystals come from

We buy from a small set of long-standing suppliers and lapidary units in India, and from established mine-direct exporters for stones that are not found here. We favour partners who can tell us the mine or region a lot came from and who pay their cutters fairly. We do not knowingly buy from conflict-linked or child-labour sources.

Checked before it is listed

Each lot is inspected by hand for hardness, density, natural inclusions and colour behaviour before it is accepted. Anything that looks treated, dyed or synthetic is rejected or, where a stone is legitimately heat-treated or reconstituted (as with some turquoise and blue howlite), it is described that way on the product page.

Cleansed and energized in India

Before dispatch, pieces are cleansed and energized at our studio following traditional practice — smoke, sound and intention-setting, chosen according to the stone. Delicate and water-sensitive stones such as selenite and malachite are never water-cleansed.

What natural means for your piece

Expect variation. Colour depth, banding, internal fractures ("veils"), surface pits, bead size and total weight will differ from the photograph and from one bracelet to the next. These are marks of a real stone, not flaws, and are not treated as defects.

How to spot a fake, in general

A few simple checks help anywhere you shop: real stone feels cool to the touch and warms slowly; natural quartz and amethyst almost always carry some internal veiling, while perfectly clear, bubble-flecked "crystal" is usually glass; dyed stone often shows concentrated colour in drill holes and cracks; and identical, flawless colour across every bead in a strand is a warning sign. If a price looks impossible for the stone, it usually is.

Our warranty

Every product carries a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing and assembly defects, and against receiving a stone other than the one described. It does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, improper care or natural variation. Read the full terms and claim process in Returns & Warranty.
